IPREDator is a services offered by The Pirate Bay with the stated goal of providing internet privacy due to there is a intellectual property law called Intellectual Property Rights Enforcement Directive (IPRED) which allow the copyrights holder to go after the file-sharer. This is kinda unacceptable because it violated the basic human rights. I believe there is nobody would wanted being monitoring all day long, right?

Hm, yeah. Both of them are my home fastest computers. The computer on the left hand side just coming back from the shop due to graphic card was spoiled last week. And right now I am copying the backup files back to the computer. But I get an error message while copying back the files.

“Cannot copy file: Cannot read from the source file or disk”

Almost all of the methods available on the Internet I’ve used to fix this fucking problem, but somehow I still can’t fix it. (-_-”)

Okay then, fine. I run a error-checking on the hard disk drives. From 7pm until 5am, still could not fix the god damn problem, and what I get is:

“File record segment xxxx is unreadable”

I got to go sleep now, I had to wake up later at 7AM because I got morning classes. I give up on finding the solutions, because the hard disk drives was spoiled as well, contain bad sectors. (-_-”)

• Updating and upgrading home server.

1. Organizing the digital media files (such as movie or drama’s title and year) by using Microsoft Office Access to allow the users of my home network to search the media files they want more easily.
2. Upgrading hard disk drive of the home server, possible will upgrading to 1 Tera byte (TB) in order to store more digital media files. And of course, all this is will only happen if my current income allowed to do so.

• Setup localhost.

1. Whoever connected to my home network would have the access to our network hard disk drive. I should setup one localhost with XAMPP and allow the users to search whatever they want.
2. Monitoring localhost, I should also monitoring who is the one browsing my home network. Permissions for guest must be setup correctly otherwise they might hack my home network and destroy my files.

• Sharing the network hard disk drive.

1. My neighbors might be the first which can enjoying the high speed downloading (up to 3000kbps) of my collection of media files, will connect a wireless router for our home server.
2. Expanding the coverage, sharing with neighbors only might caused a lot of disappointments to the user out there. Perhaps will consider buy a server and co-location it to allow the user download from anywhere around the world.

Still, all this will depend on my income level, all these are just a planning only. I might won’t have the chance to do so due to limited income.

This is what will I do in future for my home’s networking, making the internet connection available at every corner of my home. When I do so, I will be able to surf the internet at the balcony, bedrooms, stairway, or even inside the toilet.

My home got 4 desktop computers, but 2 of it is super duper outdated. So now only 3 are in use. However, it is troublesome when the desktop computers of second floor want to surf the internet. With this, now everything is hassle-free! Laptop and mobile phone with build in Wi-Fi are now able to surf the internet as well.

The pros:

• Every gadget with Wi-Fi build in is able to surf the internet easily.
• Wireless connection everywhere around the house.
• Everyone can use the external harddisk.

The cons:

• A lot of electromagnetic radiation will be produced. This is very harmful to human body.
• More electricity will be used due to more hardware are being used.
• Hacker might hack my home’s network in order to surf the internet for free, or abuse the external harddisk.

Although the latest technology helped us a lot, but when thinking about the side effect of it, everything will harm our health after all.
